About
Little Pea in a Pod started in October 2017 as a small corner of the internet for new and expecting parents. Its heart was seven plainly written guides: how to get through the first days with a new baby, why sleep matters so much (and how to protect it), how to keep a baby safe around family pets, what to do for a baby shower theme, what makes a keepsake hand-and-footprint gift, where the real baby freebies come from, and one honest note on the pink-or-blue question.
For a while the site also carried a baby-goods storefront. That store sold everything and recommended nothing, and in time it went dormant — thousands of catalog pages with no store behind them. In 2026 the site was rebuilt without it: the seven guides kept at their original addresses, a fresh coat of paint, and a promise that whatever replaces the shop will be the opposite of it — a short, explained, clearly disclosed list of gear worth actually owning.
What you read here is general parent-to-parent sense, written plainly. It is not medical advice; your pediatrician knows your baby, and nothing on this site replaces them.
Everything here is static, fast and free of tracking — no ads, no pop-ups, no accounts. If a page ever carries an affiliate link, it will say so on the page itself.
